Sister and Brother

Sister and Brother

Several years ago, a friend gave me this Willow Tree figure as a Christmas present. She knew that I would appreciate it because I am so close to my younger brother. She has a brother too, so she understands the strength of a sister/brother bond.

My brother means the world to me. I like to think that when we were little, I was able to teach my brother a few things about the world since I was older. Now, I rely on my brother, leaning on him for support in all things important. I am thankful we are related and fortunate that he is my best friend!

(The color theme for the One Word Photo Challenge this week is taupe. For photo101Rehab, I just cropped this photo and added a frame with camera+.)

  1. Beautiful. I am a sister to a brother as well. I totally get it.

  2. Beautiful figurine! I have 2 younger brothers and am close to one. I understand!

  3. This is lovely. I don’t have a brother, but I can imagine the bond. I like your edit as well, the frame works very well with the image. Thank you so much for sharing.
