One Word Photo Challenge-Persimmon

Persimmon Roofing

Persimmon Roofing

This is a distance shot of a local Mexican restaurant. I immediately thought of the roofing when I saw Persimmon as the color for the One Word Photo Challenge this week.

I wish I had the time to get a close up shot of the terra-cotta roof tiles. Partly because that view would likely make a better photo. Mostly because I love the cheese enchiladas and would stop in for a meal!

For the moment, I’ll just have to daydream about the creamy cheese, spicy sauce and warm corn tortilla that I crave along with a frozen Margarita in a frosty glass.
