Good Boy Waiting (Cee’s Which Way Challenge 2015 Week #11)
Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge 2015 Week #11
Here is my dog, Pal, patiently waiting to come back up the porch steps to go inside.
Since my yard is unfenced, Pal needs a lead to keep him from accidently wandering off when he is outside by himself. He is a curious Bassett Hound and his nose could lead him astray.
He loves to roam around in the yard and look for sticks. Sometimes he lies facing the neighbor’s house so he can peep into their dining room window. He watches the backyard squirrels and the neighboring dogs. He doesn’t like to be outside by himself for very long; he loves his people! When he wants back in, he barks and we answer his request.
On this evening, he seemed to be enjoying the warmer weather. I captured this photo through the screened glass window of my back door as Pal watched me watch him! He is a good boy!
After he climbed back up the steps, he got a well-deserved treat.
I have noticed Cee’s challenges and decided to join in the fun. I hope it is ok to add my buddy along with the steps theme for the challenge.

Yes, the steps look a lot steeper than they really are. Thanks for commenting!
