Country Market -The Changing Seasons 07
I stopped by the Country Market on Independence Day to buy some homegrown tomatoes and snap some pictures. The Stars and Stripes were proudly displayed at the Market on the Fourth of July, just as I had anticipated. Customers, including me, wearing red, white, and blue, roamed around the market area engaging in friendly conversation.
I admired greenhouse plants and fresh produce during my slow stroll in the summer heat. Tempting fruits and vegetables sat in simple baskets and boxes, ripe for the picking. I selected a bounty of Virginia grown and heirloom tomatoes. The smiling counter clerk wished me a happy and safe holiday as I headed out the door with tomato sandwiches on my mind!
This is my seventh installment for Cardinal Guzman’s Monthly Photo Challenge. We are to post 5-20 pictures each month at a nearby location to showcase the changing of seasons and hone our photography skills. You should check out his photos and the links that he posts to other entries you may also enjoy viewing.
