Winter Dread (One Word Photo Challenge-Winter)

Winter Dread

Because of dreaded winter
I can’t enjoy fall

Because of dreaded winter
Fall is no fun at all

I dread the temperature so low
I dread the way wind will blow

I dread the cold and ice and snow
I dread the fear my car won’t go

Because of dreaded winter
Fall colors fade away

Because of dreaded winter
Blue skies turn to grey.

In full disclosure, I really do appreciate the beauty of fall! But, I really do start to worry about the winter weather! How do you feel about fall and winter?

My two favorite seasons are Fall and Winter. But, I don’t have to drive in the winter very often!

  2. I would dread this too! My boyfriend wants to move back up north one day, and I vaguely like the idea of snow – but I’ve never had to deal with shoveling it or driving in it…so I think that would put a bit of a damper on things.
