Harmony Song

Sing, Songbird, Sing

Sing, Songbird, Sing

“You cannot hope to arrive at harmony in your life while stirring up disturbances in another’s…”-Rasheed Ogunlaru

While I am not one to shy away from conflict, I am learning to choose my battles. Straddling the fine line between judgement and discernment can be exhausting. Finding the right balance between speaking my mind and keeping the peace is key.

Heated debate doesn’t have the same appeal that it once did. Honest debate seems to have lost its civility and become ugly.

Striving for harmony in my life has become more important to me over the years. I have strong opinions, but now, I sometimes choose to keep them to myself.

Sometimes, seeking harmony, I retreat into nature and revel in the beauty I see. I sing my song in harmony with the day.

  1. I can relate so much with this . My state of peace means far more to me than blind arguments that degenerates to mud sling fights.
