Dance Partners

These house sparrows seem to be dance partners. I have seen them fluttering around each other, perched side by side and working together to build a nest. I have read that the little birds are monogamous and mate for life. They are quite a pair!

  3. Well I hope you can get shots of their little dancers soon. 🙂

  4. Oh, beautiful. We’ve noticed 2 pairs of sparrows building nests on opposite sides of the same tree at the marina gate this morning. With all the other couplings going on here, looks like we’re in for a bumper crop of offspring. I’m partiularly interested in the two kingfishers visiting us every day. It’s wonderful to watch them in such close proximity.

  5. We have some like that around our house, too. So cute.
