Color Your World Red-Orange

Robin Red-Orange Breast

Robin Red-Orange Breast

I immediately thought of a robin when I saw that red-orange was a theme of JNW’s Color Your World Photo Challenge. I had always thought that the breast of a robin was red, but only recently learned that other people say it is orange. I can find references to both colors as well as the red-orange descriptor. So, for me, red-orange it is!

  1. Beautiful photo! I love robins and thought they were red-breasted. Never thought of orange. šŸ™‚

  2. American robins definitely look different to English ones! A lovely picture. šŸ™‚ I also shared some shots of a robin back in March if you’d like to check them out. I was much happier with these ones than the one in my October gallery.
