Nature Walk-Finch, Party of Two

Dinner time

Dinner time

I don’t know why I waited so long to put out a bird feeder! I was happy to see this house finch couple come by to feed at dinner time. I was amazed to see the red coloring. It’s a good thing I have a field guide because I am identifying so many cool birds that I was oblivious to before I started taking special notice of them.

I am posting this for Day 6 of the seven days of nature challenge; thanks to Desley for inviting me to participate. Today, I will extend the invitation to any interested parties to post a nature picture each day for seven days and ask someone to join in the fun.

I am also posting in response to the daily post weekly photo challenge: Dinnertime
I hope my pingbacks work.
