I am fascinated by this statue that I saw as I walked around my neighborhood. I think the unbalanced proportions and worn edges are intriguing. Is it time worn or timeless? Is it settled or evolving? It seems to be in a state of transmogrification. Is it a lion? A dog? The Sphinx? Perhaps it is a mysterious stone guardian of neighborhood secrets!
