December-The Changing Seasons- V2

December Haiku (White)

Weary but hopeful
December will settle in
Washed in winter white

I need to say that I prefer the decorative coating of winter white in this photo to any wintry white mix of precipitation! I am not wishing for, I dare not even say it, s-n-o-w! A mild winter would be fine by me. It seems hard to believe that December is here, and now nearly gone. This month has been tiring, and I am ready for some energizing rest and holiday cheer. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!

This is my Version 2 entry into Cardinal Guzman’s Changing Seasons Challenge. Check out his blog for other interpretations of the theme and think about joining us in the photo challenge! I am pleased that the Cardinal will keep hosting my favorite challenge in 2017! You can see my previous entries by clicking on the Changing Seasons header at the top of my page.

  1. Such a beautiful photo, Terri. This must look really pretty all lit up at night. I am so partial to bike photos!

  2. Great photo. In Canada such displays of white bikes mark an accident site where a biker has died.

  3. Beautiful poem and picture, Terri. Enjoy your posts!

  4. Interesting comment from Victor. I didn’t know that either.
Luckily this was just a display and not accident related. 🙂

  5. This is one of those photos that must have an interesting story behind it. A white bike with fairy lights; a small portion of a picket fence AND a wreath. Reading the comments, I wonder if it is actually a memorial to someone? I hope you are managing to have some relaxing days during the holidays so you are full of energy come the new year.
