Carpenter Bee Collage
Carpenter Bee Collage
My blog, The Beespeak, is not a blog about bees. I do find bees to be interesting creatures, however. I first thought these were bumble bees; but, the spot on their backs proved them to be carpenter bees instead! I learned something new! Did you know the difference?
These large carpenter bees look pretty cool doing their work among the flowers. The pinkish flowers are rhododendrons, but I am not sure what the purple flowers are. Bees seem to like them; do you know what they are? Isn’t nature delightful?
