Half Day Moon (CFFC-Sky)

Half Day Moon

Yesterday, I noticed that the theme of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge for the week was sky. Looking up, I found it to be a pleasant surprise to see the moon in the blue sky of day.

At times, the half moon had to peek through the soft clouds floating across the sky.

Day Moon Peeking

I always look for images in the clouds. This cloud formation struck me as a Phoenix rising in the sky.

Sky blue and bluejay too

JNW’s Color Your World photo challenge theme for today is sky blue. I just love a clear blue sky! And, if you look close, you can see the pretty blue feathers on this bluejay too! I was double blessed with the beautiful view!

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Graceful Flight

Graceful

Graceful

There is little more graceful than a bird in flight. Soaring, gliding, owning the sky.

Color Your World- Blue

Blue mood undone by blue skies.

Six words to go along with my JNW’s Color Your World-Blue photo challenge entry today.

Cloud Line (Half and Half)

Cloud Line

Cloud Line

My mother first noticed this distinct cloud line and encouraged me to take the photograph. We thought the straight line separating colorful clouds from clear sky was unusual. The picture was taken near dusk and a storm was on its way. The sharp cloud line mirrors the power line, and the dark trees on either side give a mirror image effect.

I believe this photo meets the daily post Half and Half challenge of posting a picture with two clear halves.

What Do You See? (One Word Photo Challenge-Cloudy)

What Do You See?

What Do You See?

Does anybody else see a smiling face? I also see a dolphin! It’s funny how we all see different things when we gaze at the clouds.

Maybe, what we see is dependent on our mood or our experiences. Maybe, we see what we want to see.

I’m curious. What do you see in these clouds?

Orange Mélange

image

Warm orange flows across the glow of the evening sky to the smile of a tasty goldfish!
Perky orange petals take bloom. Swirls of orange stir the mix. Deep orange grounds garden clogs and also frees dreams of flip flops in the sand.

I hope you enjoy this medley of photos posted in response to the prompt to post multiple photos with a pop of orange.

Orange you glad it’s photo challenge time?
