Mirror Me-Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge

Mirror Me

Mirror Me

Yep, this is me. Or, at least reflections of me! Both the shiny vehicle door and the curve above the wheel well turned out to be mirrors for my dual image self portrait.

These buildings are my downtown city landmarks. I infrequently post black and white photos because I love color. However, I was inspired by the buildings theme of Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge this week and I believe B&W is perfect for these strong buildings. Thanks for the inspiration, Cee!

I will also add these to Jacqueline’s Echoes of my Neighborhood challenge which I noticed when I viewed Kat’s very cool like mercury colliding blog post. It’s nice to take a look around the corner and see the world.

Signs For The Times

I had to stop and read these signs when I spotted the jaunty display. The messages may make you smile or chuckle. Happy reading!

Above It All

Soar above it all. Stay above the fray. Leave strife in the distance. Hope for calmer days.

Here is my entry for Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge with the theme of things that fly, from birds to airplanes. By changing the sky from blue to gray, I think that the photo now seems like it is from another time. I feel like I have stepped into the past.
