Heart of the Home
My kitchen is the heart of my home. The space is small but inviting. I know I’m home when I can set aside the pressures of the day and focus on creating a satisfying meal. No hurries in my kitchen. The pace is slow and deliberate. Taste, color and aroma fill the senses. Kitchen conversations feed the soul.

How true that the kitchen is often times the “heart of the home”. Your kitchen sounds and looks very much like home.

Thank you. People always seem to gather around kitchens, don’t they?

This is probably the same type of theme I am going to go with. My kitchen is the heart of my home. 🙂

I already grew up with the idea that the kitchen is the heart of the home, where everything and everyone comes together. And I am very happy to create this idea in my kids’ minds as well.

I love talking with people while I cook for them. Getting their ideas, sharing stories; the kitchen has always been that place for me. So glad that others feel that way!
