Bird Watch-Music To My Eyes
Bird of the Day-Tufted Titmouse
The sight of this bird was music to my eyes! I had caught glimpses of the tufted titmouse and had tried to track him by his song in my neighborhood and in a nearby park. I had tried to take a picture, but the bird would always turn its head and fly away. The bird was recently drawn to my new bird feeder and I captured a few pictures, but I wanted to catch a shot of him in a tree!
I can’t really discriminate between all the bird songs, but when I hear something that sounds different, I rush to look! That’s how I knew to look for him in my tree! I was happy to capture both his crest and the tuft of red-orange on his side!
I love listening to the morning chorus and the daily songs of all my backyard songbirds as they bring music to my ears.
I have started noticing so many different birds…. more than I ever imagined! I want to document them on my blog this month. I may not be able to make a post every day, but the birds do inspire me to share their beauty! To see more bird pictures, you can click on the Birds header at the top of my blog.
Are you a better bird watcher or bird listener?
I will also attach this post to the daily post prompt:
