Nature Walk-Redbud

Redbud

Redbud

It’s day three of the seven days of nature challenge. The redbud is one of my favorite trees. I love the color of its blossoms.

I also have a sentimental memory attached to redbud trees. When I was little, my dad planted a redbud in the yard for me. I can still remember standing at my kitchen door, watching him plant my tree as it poured down rain.

I was invited to participate in this photo challenge by Desleyjane of musings of a frequent flying scientist. Today, I would like to invite ghostmmnc of teleporting weena to join us. If interested, just post a nature photo each day for seven days and ask someone to join in!

I will likely post a photographic mix of birds, wildlife, flowers and other nature scenes. feel free to join in the fun!

  1. It’s pretty so it’s easy to see why you like it.

  2. I love this, Terri! After one of our notorious hurricanes, people had strange plants popping up everywhere. I guess the winds tossed seeds all over the place. Somehow I now have a huge redbud tree both on the side of my house and in my backyard. Lucky me!!
