Pal’s Place

My bassett is hungry for more
Room on the couch he longs for
His pure heart is golden
Forever beholden
He nudges me onto the floor!

      • Oh how I wish I could say yes! We have an angel basset. Our geriatric Fred was crazy affectionate and drooly sweet and fabulously easy-going, not to mention wildly healthy – till she suddenly wasn’t. Now I’m that obnoxious girl who stops to pet every basset hound in Boston, even if I’m late or it’s raining. I’m incorrigible. And I just discovered the WordPress ‘basset hound’ tag. My daily hound quota shall be filled! 😉
